Runline ("we," "us," or "our") provides scheduling and job management software used by independent service businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, mobile mechanics, cleaners, and similar trades) to communicate with their own customers. Each business on the platform is assigned a dedicated local 10-digit phone number that it uses to send transactional text messages to customers who have opted in. Messages are sent from the individual business, not from Runline. Message types include:
No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program. Messages are limited to transactional content directly related to the service the customer has requested.
You may opt in to receive text messages from a business using Runline by:
By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages at the mobile number you provided from the specific business you are engaging with. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can book and receive service without opting in to text messages.
Message frequency varies based on the services you have booked. You may receive approximately 2 to 5 messages per service appointment, including a booking confirmation, one or more reminders, a technician dispatch alert, and a completion or follow-up notice. Frequency may be higher if you book multiple appointments in a short window.
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Runline does not charge for text messages beyond any applicable carrier fees. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation text acknowledging your request. No further messages from that business will be sent to your number unless you re-enroll. Opt-out requests apply to the specific business you received the message from.

Text messages sent through Runline are delivered via Twilio and are available on most major US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others. Runline is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier limitations or network issues. Message delivery is not guaranteed.
This service is intended for US mobile numbers only unless otherwise stated.
Runline's platform and the businesses that use it comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, CTIA messaging principles, and applicable state laws. Express written consent is obtained from every recipient before any text messages are sent. Messages sent through this program are transactional, relating directly to a service the customer has requested.
Runline maintains records of your consent, including the date, time, method of opt-in, and the specific business the consent was granted to, for a minimum of 5 years or as required by applicable law.
Your mobile phone number is used solely to deliver messages from the business you have opted in to. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the business you are engaging with and with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) as necessary to transmit messages.
